Guests often praise

  • Spacious rooms and cottages with useful amenities such as fridges, coffee makers, and washers.

  • Excellent location close to Death Valley National Park, visitor center, and popular sightseeing spots.

Worth knowing

  • Some accommodations feel slightly outdated and rates can seem high relative to offerings.

Booked 3 nights in a double occupancy room, spacious 2 queen beds, fridge and small coffee machine. Nice balcony to sit out and enjoy. General store on site, providing pretty much any amenity you may have forgotten. Also sandwiches, coffee and drinks in addition to souvenirs. Two restaurants on site, decent, one of them is expensive, but nothing open late. Overall a good stay but feels a little overpriced.

This place is truly an oasis in the desert. You are in the middle of nowhere but the beauty of the property and gardens makes you forget your surrounded by desert. Great customer service by all staff we interacted with. Only 2hrs from Las Vegas and worth the trip.

We loved our stay at The Ranch! We stayed in one of the cottages which was perfect for our family. The room has a pullout sofa, mini fridge, washer/dryer, coffee maker and a cute front porch. The property had plenty of activities to keep busy - lawn games, a playground, pool and even horses! We loved walking around and taking in the scenery. You can’t beat the location and proximity to the trails. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at campground and were happy with stay. Just know it is very basic, no hookups…dry camping. Took star off for The running generators constantly was annoying as they do not have restrictions on noise or types. However, the grounds you get access to are beautiful and the swimming pool was a highlight for my family to cool off after adventuring in National Park! Right next to NP visitor center too which my kids do junior ranger programs so very convenient. We even did a night ranger led program which was very short walk to program from campsite.

The Rach at the Oasis was a lovely place to stay -we stayed in a cottage, enjoyed the pool, ice cream parlor, restaurant, and the beautiful grounds. Parking was convenient, and I recommend a visit here to any of my friends trying to see Death Valley, or to have a natural getaway from Las Vegas.

We utilized one of the family cottages at the ranch. It had two double beds and an optional sofa bed. The air-conditioning was very welcome. There is also a simple tea, coffee, making facilities, a fridge and a microwave available. We did take advantage of the washing machine plus the extreme heat and windy weather for a mid road trip washing session! On site is the natural heated pool, which was very popular but well worth a little visit for us. We were using this for an overnight base on a road trip around the area. We ate in the on-site 1849 restaurant and had the buffet option which was excellent value. We also took advantage of this following morning for breakfast as well. The shop is well stocked with souvenirs and food items. The cottages look a bit banal on the map but are very well situated with lit palm trees create quite an ambience at dusk. The on-site ice cream parlor was very quiet but had some delicious ice cream! It was in the style of a 1950s diner. The location is good value and perfect for a brief up overnight as you explore the death Valley area. It’s only a short drive through to the Sand dunes and the salt Plains.

Me, my wife, and my parents stayed at The Oasis in early August. We were doing the National Parks and needed a place to stay while exploring Death Valley. The Oasis was great for a comfortable base in a perfect location for seeing the iconic sites in Death Valley. The rooms at the Ranch were a bit outdated but exactly what we needed. We loved the pool and took advantage of the pickleball and basketball court at night. We ate at the Inn Dining Room and the Ice Cream Parlor during our stay. The food was good and the service was excellent. Sure it was a bit pricey, but I get it since you're in the middle of the desert. Relatively short drives to a number of awesome viewpoints and iconic Death Valley sites from the Oasis make it a winner in our eyes.

Gorgeous oasis in Death Valley. The ice cream parlour was perfect and a small mining museum and photo opportunities made the visit even more interesting. We at the the Inn and had lovely meal and views. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. We drove for a day trip out of vegas, with Death Valley stops on way.
